1. I have enough:
10-14 I’m glad in God, far happier than you would ever guess—happy that you’re again showing such strong concern for me. Not that you ever quit praying and thinking about me. You just had no chance to show it. Actually, I don’t have a sense of needing anything personally. I’ve learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. I’m just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I’ve found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am. I don’t mean that your help didn’t mean a lot to me—it did. It was a beautiful thing that you came alongside me in my troubles.
My God supplies all my needs. No matter my situation I have enough because I have Him.
2. I do enough:
Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior Who saves! He will rejoice over you with joy: He will rest in silent satisfaction and in His love He will be silent and make no mention of past sins or even recall them; He will exult over you with singing. (Amp)”
God accepts me because of Christ who lives in me. While we are all on a journey to be more like Christ I need not fear that I need to perpetually chase after acceptance by doing task after task. My Lord rejoices over me with singing.
3. I am enough:
“You are a chosen [woman], a royal [priest], a holy [daughter], God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light” (1 Pet. 2:9).
In God’s eyes I am sanctified and cherished. The world may doubt my worth but my Lord never will.
